Where can I get survey grade GPS training?
I’m looking for survey grade precision GPS training in the northern California area that is independant of the manufacturer of the equipment. Does anyone know where I might find something like this?

CalState Fresno has a Geomatics Engineering department, which offers courses using GPS.
Are you looking to learn how to survey or just learn how to do survey grade GPS? What kind of survey grade GPS are you looking to learn (static, RTK)???? Any particular reason you want something that is independent of manufacturer??? (I’ve developed GPS receivers for several manufacturers and I can tell you firsthand that there is no real difference in the application of the products. The concepts of survey grade GPS and surveying in general are still the same, regardless of manufacturer)
